Bibi Ronchi, Textile designer, closely involved in trend research field, is the president of Chiron and the art director of all Chiron trend books. She has teached in Italy at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, as tutor at Istituto Setificio in Como, Politecnico di Milano (Industrial Design course), Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan and in Duksung Woman's University in Seoul.
As a strategic consultant for various ltalian and foreign companies, she has held courses and seminars in several Countries in the world.
                                                   
Chiron began its activity in Como in 1958, as textile design studio.

Earlier, in 1943, its foundress Elsa Gerosa who was born in an artist's family (her father created the famous Ferrari's  Logo ''Il Cavallino"), began her fashion designing carrear in Milan working for Maison such as Ventura and Germana Marucelli, and later in Paris for Chanel and Jack Fath.

In 1972 the company see the partecipation of Bibi  Ronchi. At this time the firm became a specialist in consulting, targeted to fashion textile and trend research.

In  1978 the first edition of Chiron Colori and in 1981 Chiron Intreccio. Then in 1997 Seashopper, and in  2009 with the huge collaborotion of Piera Vailati Rassegna Stampa a great surce of inspirotion for jacquard and print collections.

Twice a year Chiron produces an audiovisuel presentation with an overview on the season leitmotivs, and, with this presentation, has been several times in charge of seminars and trend area setting of importont textile exhibitions and events.
